Bio
Alan originally came to Atlanta to coach soccer from the United Kingdom in 2003 after coming over to other states in the USA since 1998.
Apart from futsal programs, Alan runs a variety of sport and physical education programs that maximize engagement for children and places them at the center.
In 2017, he founded Atlanta Futsal which was awarded National Academy Status in June 2018.
Alan has a comprehensive background in soccer serving as, Executive Director, Director of Coaching Education, Director of Coaching, Technical Director at the youth soccer level.
Serving as a coach-educator for USC at a National level & USSF at the state level SINCE 2005, Alan has featured as a clinician for TASCO in 2015 & 2017 as well as instructing courses from L.A. to New York and the Cayman Islands.
Alan is a certified teacher for Health, P.E. & Biology and possesses the UEFA B Coaching License, NSCAA/USC Premier Diploma, NSCAA/USC Director of Coaching Diploma, NSCAA/USC GK Level 2, NSCAA/USC Futsal Diploma, and the USYF Level 1 & 2.
In 2018, he also founded Birmingham Futsal, Knoxville Futsal & Macon Futsal to connect cities to share and grow the game.
He is married to his wife Shannon and has two children, Calum & Piper.
Qualifications
