Bio

Nathan Worley comes from a rich soccer background playing at one of the most successful TN High schools, Christian Academy of Knoxville. CAK bolsters 9 State championships and 12 state championship appearances in 19 years. He has been a part of 5 of those, 3 as a player and 2 as an assistant coach and still currently coaches at CAK.

Nathan attended Johnson University, TN where he earned his degree in InterCultural Studies: TESOL. In addition, Nathan carried his soccer success from his H.S to his new college earning 1st team all region 3 out of 4 years. As a 4 year starter, Nathan helped Johnson University win the first 2 Regional championships in school history.

Nathan continued he’s love of soccer as a coaching starting out as a graduate assistant for Johnson University Men’s soccer eventually landing an associate and GK coaching position for Johnson University Women’s Soccer for 7 years. Nathan helped facilitate a rising program at Johnson developing a program that achieved 4 Regional championship appearances and 4 All-Americans in 6 years. As GK coach, Nathan helped develop the schools first All-American GK, and helped coach Johnson Women’s Soccer best finishes in program history, #6 2017 and #4 in 2018.

Nathan has since stepped down from his position at Johnson University and is now passionate about developing players with the new program of Knoxville Futsal Academy. Nathan 31, is married to lovely wife Maika Worley 29, who is an Elementary school teach at Powell. Nathan and Maika both currently live in Oak Ridge, TN.

Nathan currently holds his Advanced National, USSF D and GK level 3 licenses and is an Accredited Interscholastic Coach through NFHS.
